Can a man die and die again? (Botswana)

The first death came to all mankind through the disobedience of Father Adam. Romans 5:12 (ESV), “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.” Everyone is born guilty through Adam’s sin and will die.

Mankind is not on trial now. The purpose of our present life is to experience to terrible consequences of sin. Then in the resurrection (John 5:28-29), we may willingly choose to obey God and righteousness rather than to disobey.

When Jesus paid the price for Adam’s sin, all were redeemed. Now, only true Christians have received forgiveness through Jesus’s blood, but the rest of the world will experience redemption in the promised resurrection. Romans 5:18 (ESV), “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.”

During Christ’s 1,000 reign, mankind will be taught righteousness and God’s law of love will be written in their hearts. Jeremiah 31:34 (ESV), “And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

At the end of the 1,000 years during the little season of Revelation 20:3, each individual will experience his own trial for eternal life. Each will be tested as to whether he loves God and obeys God’s will or will he choose disobedience? Those who disobey will die the second death (Revelation 20:14) as a consequence of their own sins. Second death will be an end of existence anywhere. These incorrigible will not have a second resurrection.

Psalm 37:10 (NKJV), “For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more.”

What becomes of the soul at death? Is it put into the grave with the body, or does it fly away in a disembodied state, and go soaring around through space, waiting and longing for the time to come when it can get back into its body (put on its clothes again, so to speak) at the resurrection?

I have just lost a dear little girl who never was baptized. I am about mad with grief and sorrow. Some people tell me that she is lost to all eternity and may possibly now be writhing in eternal torture. I have called in our minister and he only shakes his head in doubt. I have also talked with ministers of other denominations and can get no consolation.
