Where will Jesus reign, on earth or in the air or in both places? (Costa Rica)

Jesus reigns on earth from heaven. Remember Jesus said, “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19 (NKJV)

Jesus returns invisibly to demolish this present evil world order and then to establish His righteous reign. Human eyes cannot behold the glory of Jesus’s divine nature. When Saul caught of glimpse of Jesus’s glory, Saul was blinded. Jesus was brighter than the noon day sun.

However, Christ (Jesus and His Church) will have earthly representatives. Isaiah 1:26, “And I will restore thy judges (Samuel, Gideon, Deborah, Samson, etc.) as at the first, and thy counsellors (Moses, Abraham, Joseph, etc.) as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

Micah 5:4-5 (ESV), 4 “And he (Jesus) shall stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth. 5 And he shall be their peace. When the Assyrian (in the final battle of Armageddon) comes into our land and treads in our palaces, then we (God and Jesus) will raise against him seven shepherds (the glorified, heavenly Church class) and eight princes of men (the resurrected, faithful, ancient men of old);”

Isaiah 2:3 (ESV), “and many peoples shall come, and say: ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.’ For out of Zion (the heaven rulership) shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem (the earthly princes of men).

This arrangement was prophesied to Abraham when God gave him this promise, “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed…” Genesis 22:17-18. In pictorial language, Jesus and His Church are the stars of heaven and the faithful men of the Old Testament are the sand. Both the spiritual seed and the natural seed will bless all the nations of the earth.
